Background & Profile

BMP was established on 22 December 1993 and has been successfully delivering the latest drilling technology to every drilling project since its foundation.

BMP’s origins are in the mining industry securing its first contract in 1994 with Rio Tinto Indonesia.  Its business had since inception, been geared towards servicing primarily the needs of Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT) and the business had grown steadily along with the growing needs of Newmont since 1997.  In more recent years, BMP has grown the business by diversifying its base including in the CBM industry with Dart Energy since 2011 and manufacturing products since 2005.

BMP’s head office is located at Tekno Park Industrial Estate, BSD City, South Tangerang and is less than 20km’s from the centre of Jakarta with a branch office in Sumbawa servicing ongoing Newmont projects. BMP head office comprising approximately 960m2 areas under roof includes fabrication workshop and warehouse specializing in rigs fabrication. BMP Sumbawa branch office comprises an area under roof of 32,900m2 including maintenance workshop, warehouse, mess, housing and yard.
